To calculate annual tax, multiply sales price (i.e. "market value") by the appropriate tax factor shown in the table below.

Annual Tax = (Market Value) x (Tax Factor)

This formula should be applied only to properties for which homestead has been claimed. For commercial or investment properties, multiply the annual tax by 2.
